Just seeing if there is any new information in Ring Central about stopping robo and spam calls. We have some users that just a ton of them even though I toggled on the ‘robo-call’ setting. I know everyone has to deal with this, but just curious if there were any updates.

 

The short answer seems to be “No”.  I’ve toggled all anti-robo call settings including blocking any call with blocked caller ID.  Nothing inherent in the RingCentral System stops these spoofed spam calls from foreign gangs of spammers.  a Google search indicated there were addons to the RingCentral system that would help but I can’t find any evidence of additional capabilities or addons when I search RingCentral’s site.  If we can’t get this to be dramatically reduced, we will have to start looking for another phone vendor.
