We’ve had our texting campaign approved and has been in “Setup in Progress” for over a month. It dawned on me last week that maybe the setup was taking so long because I only added our main company line which is directed to our auto-receptionist. I added my direct number last week and sure enough I see texting available in my RC app.

We are a small office and our clients are only aware of our main phone number and fax number, so naturally when they try to text us they text our main line. Is it possible to use texting with a number that is assigned to an auto-receptionist?

Also, we still have our old texting service which receives texts to our main line - would this conflict with RC? I didn’t want to cancel it until we got RC up and running.
