I successfully registered my number and got it approved. I can receive SMS, but cannot reply because it still says I’m not registered. Everything in the RingCentral admin portal indicates that I am already registered.
I would recommend creating a case. This may need a reset from Telco Ops.
When you create the case, send me the case. number and I’ll follow up with it.
No need to create a case. I had a hunch that if I closed the RingCentral app and logged back in, that it might pick up the approved status.
It worked! I can now receive and send replies using the Windows app.
It would be nice to have the app updated so that it gets real-time status for things like this, but this simple step seems to be a reasonable work-around in the meantime.
Maybe I still need to create a ticket for another issue. If I make a voice call to this SMS number , I get “Number Not Valid”. Does that mean that the porting process is incomplete or that this number is SMS-only and cannot receive voice calls?
