We are a new Ring Central customer and have been given Yealing T42S phones that were part of another provider years ago. The factory reset process of holding the OK button is not working in that we keep getting placed back to a username password entry. The same thing happens through the GUI. Any recommendation or are we simply going to have to purchase new phones?

Thanks in advance.

You may need to enter something in the username and password fields.
Have you tried this process?

Looks like you may have to use admin for both fields.

Yep that is the article I started with .. I have tried admin and ADMIN and Admin in both fields .. so far nothing works ..

Let me ask around.

These were originally part of Office @ Hand from AT&T which was a resell of Ring Central I was told.

@wbberry I’m being told that you might have to reach out to Yealink support directly to unlock the phones.
However, once you do so, we can help to get them provisioned.

Let me know if I can help further.

I put in a ticket this morning but will see how soon they reply back.

Thanks
