How do I move an agent to a different group?

Hi @Burt Zarend,

There are two primary ways to assign or move agents between groups (e.g., dial groups, inbound queues). The process is always done through the Admin section of the RingCX platform.

  1. From the Agent's Configuration Page:

    • Log in to the RingCX Admin Interface.

    • Go to Admin > Users and click on Agents.

    • Find and select the agent you want to move.

    • In the agent's configuration settings, look for sections like Outbound Access (for dial groups). You can then check or uncheck the boxes for the specific groups you want to assign them to.

  2. From the Group's Assignment Page (Most common method):

    • Log in to the RingCX Admin Interface.

    • Go to Admin > Groups (or the section where your dial groups or queues are listed).

    • Select the specific group you want to modify.

    • Look for the Agent Assignment tab or section. From here, you can directly add or remove agents from that group's member list.

The second method is often the most efficient for managing a group of agents all at once.

Hi @Jackson661, sorry to hear you’re having this issue! Have you tried troubleshooting by uninstalling and reinstalling the app? If that doesn’t help, let me know, and I’ll submit a ticket to Tech Support for you.
