Please delete the duplicated contact and it should be all good.
The extension supports creating contact in a placeholder company if it cannot find an existing contact for a given number. It’s possible that the 2 contacts are created near the same time and the extension didn’t get the latest info to check if the contact exists.
This should happen very rarely. If you do see it appears more often, it could be a bug. Please let me know. Thanks!
As well as plans to further improve this experience. In the future we hope to implement a feature where a Bullhorn Lead is created automatically using call ID information.
Also, if you create a Lead, then you are not required to create a company as well. This can also help reduce the creation of duplicate placeholder entities.
