We're excited to announce the release of App Connect version 1.5.6, now available! This update brings some important bug fixes, a highly requested new feature, and general improvements to make your experience even smoother.

Here's a rundown of what's new in 1.5.6:

Bug Fixes & Improvements:

  • Retroactive Call Logging Note Fix: We've squashed a bug where "pending note" was mistakenly being inserted into the Bullhorn note action field during retroactive call logging. Your notes should now appear exactly as intended!

  • AI Transcript & Note Logging for Retroactive Calls: Previously, App Connect wasn't logging AI transcripts and notes for retroactive call logging. This has been fixed, ensuring all your valuable call data is captured.

  • Improved Managed Settings organization: We've worked making managed settings for admins more symmetrical with user settings for easier navigation.

New Feature!

  • SMS Message Logging to Google Sheets: You can now automatically log your SMS messages directly into Google Sheets! A new sheet titled "Message Logs" will be created in your connected Google Sheet to house all your valuable message data.

  • Customizable Ringtone: Personalize your App Connect experience! You can now select your preferred ringtone directly within the Audio settings.

We're constantly working to improve App Connect and appreciate all your feedback. We hope these updates enhance your productivity and streamline your workflows.

As always, if you encounter any issues or have suggestions, please don't hesitate to reach out to our support team.

Thanks for being a part of the App Connect community!

We are still experiencing calls logging as Pending Note. And some do not appear to be retro logging, but calls made in Real Time as logging that way. This is happening to users who previously have had things log properly, so not a settings issue. Any advise?

@Brittany Chalupa I believe this is a known issue for which we are working on a fix. My understanding is that it is possible that for some calls, if you close App Connect prior to the call being fully logged, it can cut short the update process. So one way to verify this is the case for you is to advise users to keep App Connect open until the call is fully logged in Bullhorn and the note no longer uses the “Pending” action.

In the future, we will update the retroactive call logging sync process to catch this issue and clean up.

Alternatively, you can try out server-side call logging, which now operates more reliably with a new login/auth mechanism. Check it out.
