Why is there no "SMS Sent" Trigger for Custom Workflows ?

Therre is an “SMS Received” Trigger for Custom Workflows.  Why is there no “SMS Sent” Trigger?  This would be very helpul.

I would create a custom workflow that sends an HTTP request to my Portal to notify that a text message was sent so I could log it.
