We are currently testing the new server-side logging function. We want to be able to support those users that wish to use App Connect and in-app call logging BUT also want to make sure that users who don’t use App Connect, have their calls logged in Bullhorn automatically (with server-side logging).
We found that with Server Side logging enabled, any and all notes that are user entered in App Connect during the call are overwritten by the “from auto logging” message.
Workflow:
- Make / Receive phone call
- During the phone call, click icon to open “Note”
- Type notes during the call
- Click the green check button
- Conclude the call
We see in Ring Central App Connect, the call logs show “from auto logging” instead of what was typed in during the call
The call IS auto-logged in Bullhorn (regardless of user logging action in app-connect) but the notes are listed as “agent notes: from auto logging” instead of what was typed in during the call. AFTER the call, the user is able to go into the call log in App Connect, override the “auto logging” notes and save them properly but this is not our typical workflow. We need users to be able to enter notes DURING the call and not have them be overridden by server-side auto logging.
Anyone else having this issue? Any solutions?
