Ability to use Dial by Name Company Directory in desktop and mobile apps?

Is there a way to dial the Dial by Name Company Directory from the desktop or mobile apps? I have tried entering the extension into the dial pad (Ext. 1050) and it tells me that it is an invalid extension. If I dial the same extension from a desk phone it works fine. Chat Support couldn't give me a clear answer. Thoughts or answers?

Hey Nichols Laws,

The Dial by Name Directory is specifically for outside callers - not internal callers. People from outside your company are able to search through people within your Company Directory.

In the desktop and mobile app, you'll leverage the Contacts section, which will display everyone in your company.
