name directory, multiple users sharing the same ext. number

Depends on how you have your extensions/licenses set up.

You could set each of the users up as a mobile user, and forward all calls to that one extension that has a physical phone.  That one phone would need to be an EX license to allow for outgoing calls.

Then each user could be in the directory on their own extension.

You would have to watch out that your mobile calls don’t go over the monthly limit - if they fo, you’re charged by RC for a EX license.

That sounds like a lot of extra work. I would like to see a directory option to just add names to the same extension number, No limit.

It’s actually not.  The whole sequence, even if you had 10 users, would take less than 10 minutes.

And, RC has a board for ideas - you should post the idea there and see what happens.  I can tell you some of my ideas have been added into the core code over the years.  (and I’m still waiting on others - for years)
