@Angelab Ha! Yeah, we’ve heard this from customers.
I think this KB can help you.
If it does, will you please come back and mark this as the best answer? And if not, we’ll dig in a bit further.

This won’t work for us, we don’t need Call Queues.

@Angelab If this is not part of a call queue setup, you can find this setting in the extension settings. First, identify which extension is receiving the calls so you can access its settings to change the music or disable the connecting message. Once the user extension is identified, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to the RingCentral Service Web at https://service.ringcentral.com.
  2. Navigate to the Users tab and select the relevant user extension.
  3. Go to Phone > Incoming Call Rules.
  4. Locate "My Work Day", then go to Work Hours. Under Welcome Greeting, find "Tell caller they're being connected."
  5. From there, you can toggle off the prompt. If you’d like to customize it, click the arrow icon, change it from Default to Custom, and follow the options to upload a personalized connecting message.

Let us know if this helps!
