Message Only Extensions - Multiple Managers - Multiple Mailboxes

You should look into “email plus addressing”. 
I am going to give an example.

Let’s say you have 2 message only ext, both of which send voicemail notifications to the same email address.

1. After Hours Voicemail
Email: distributiongroup@email.com

2. Missed calls voicemail
Email: distributiongroup@email.com

Above is your current situation which isn’t working for you. Below is the same scenario but with Email plus addressing:


1. After Hours Voicemail
Email: distributiongroup+afterHoursVM@email.com

2. Missed calls voicemail
Email: distributiongroup+workingHoursVM@email.com


email notifications will still be sent to distributiongroup@email.com, but you’ll be able to tell if they came from Message only ext 1 or 2 by the way they are addressed.  

You can put whatever you want between the + and the @. It is what your managers will be using to tell where the voicemail came from
