Where do they hide my conference call-in number and passcode?

I can never seem to find where my conference call number is hidden. I’d like to send it to clients so we can have a conference phone call, but I have been looking on this site for 20 minutes and on my phone app and I still can’t find it. Where do you all put this? I can tell you it’s not in a user friendly location. It’s not intuitive. I’ve run out of search words looking for it.

Hi @holly-1,

To find your conference details in the RingCentral App:

  1. Click the "+" (New Action) icon in the upper right corner.

  2. Select "Start a Conference Call."

  3. Your Dial-in Number, Host Access Code, and Participant Access Code will be displayed there. You'll also find options for international numbers.

Hope this helps, and thank you for that honest feedback about having trouble finding the location; it helps us know where we need to improve!

I updated my RingCentral phone app and when I hit the + sign, it only has three options: New Message, Invite, or Create Team. It does not have the “Start a Conference Call” option. On my desktop app, I see that when I click the + sign it does have that option. Does the iPhone app need further updating to include this?

Apparently on the phone app, you have to hit “phone” then at the top right hand corner there is a symbol that looks like a circle with 3 circles around it. That takes you to the conferencing info. The fact that it’s not in the same place on the phone app and on the desktop is what makes it difficult to remember where it’s at or what to look for.

Here’s how to access on your mobile app:

  • Tap on the "Phone" icon (usually at the bottom navigation bar).

  • Look for the "Conference icon" on the upper right.

  • Your default dial-in number and access codes will be displayed there, along with options to invite participants directly.

Oops, I was in the middle of typing my reply and didn’t see that you already commented.
And yes, you’re right! The experience does differ between desktop and mobile. 👍
