App Connect call log time is wrong in Redtail

When using App Connect with the Redtail CRM to log our calls we observed that the time is entered in as GMT, and does not use our actual local time. I have checked that both RingCentral and Redtail to confirm the correct time zones are specified.

I’ve contacted Redtail support and they don’t support to get timezone value through APIs.

 

I plan to add an extra field in Connect page to allow users enter their timezone so that time can be shown correctly. ETA for this change is by Feb. I’ll let you know here when it’s deployed.

New version 1.3.6 will have this feature where you can input your timezone value in authorization page within the extension. This version is scheduled to be released early next week.

@Kbanfi 1.3.6 is released. Chrome should auto update your extension. Please go to user setting and Logout, then re-Connect and input your timezone value (any integer between -12 and 12)
