RingCentral Video Meetings Remote Control Feature

Hello,

Is there a way to remote control a meeting participants shared desktop like we used to in th eold RingCentral Meetings app?
If not, is this feature being worked on?

The remote control feature in RingCentral Video is not available yet
The engineering team is working on it and it is planned to be released in Q1 end or Q2 of this year.

If that feature will be available as an API is still TBD just FYI in case one is looking for a programmatic solution.

Yatin - Any update on when remote control will be available for the video meeting in the Ring Central app? We are trying to provide both remote support to users and share desktops when our teams are collaborating.

What is the update on the remote control feature? We gave up LogMeIn because this was included and it is something that we need now.

Using the RingCentral Phone for Desktop, you can dial or receive test calls, send and receive test SMS or Fax messages in your sandbox environment.

Download RingCentral Phone for Desktop:

Tip: switch to the "sandbox mode" before logging in the app:

  • On MacOS: press "fn + command + f2" keys
  • On Windows: press "Ctrl + F2" keys
