Hi ​@Kevin Kane, Have you had a chance to troubleshoot the issue yet? Here are a few common reasons this might be happening.

 

Step 1: Check Your Presence

  • Open your RingCentral App or check your desk phone.

  • Most of the time, calls go to voicemail because Do Not Disturb (DND) is on. When DND is enabled, calls automatically go to voicemail based on your settings.

Step 2: Check Call Handling Rules

  • Head over to your Admin Portal or App Settings and take a look at your call rules.

Here’s what to check:

  • Forward All Calls: Sometimes calls are going straight to voicemail because your phone thinks it’s after-hours or the device is disabled.

  • Work Hours & Ring Settings: Make sure your work hours are set correctly—calls outside of these hours may go to voicemail.

  • Custom Rules: Any special rules you set up for holidays, specific numbers, or other situations could be overriding your normal settings.

💡 Tip: Start with checking your presence and DND first. It’s usually the culprit! Then review forwarding and custom rules if calls are still going to voicemail.

My desk phone does not have the DND on. and I cannot find that option on my cell app

If DND isn’t turned on in your desk phone, it won’t be on in your mobile app either since they’re linked. Could you try checking your Call Handling Rules?

I am having the same issue. Checked all incoming call settings nothing is working. DND is not on. No call forwarding is on. Tried several different ways to fix this nothing is helping.
