Question

Can users dial zero internally yet?

I have been a RC user for many years… We have never been able to pick up the phone and press zero and it ring a pre-determined ‘operator’ ext. Has RingCentral made this a thing as of yet?

As of right now, a caller (external) can not call a user, hit their voice mail and press zero and reach another (pre-determined) user (or the operators) voice mail…

RingCentral has said for years they would be making this very basic and common feature - according to other VoIP Providers a thing - but as far as I know, they have not as of yet? Or have they?

I was just searching for a way to have internal users dial zero to get to our operator, no luck yet.

Per your example above though I did notice that outside callers that reach a person’s voicemail CAN dial zero during the greeting and be redirected to an extension (or call queue) of your choice. The setting is in the site under Call Handling > Incoming Calls > Settings. There is a section there for “Zero Dialing - Specify what will happen when a caller presses 0 while listening to a user or group extension greeting”.
