I am feeling my laptop become slower with RC, is this usage of memory usual? It spikes on bootup

Is there a formal support ticket open on this yet?
Haven’t done anything in RC all day. If I quit and restart RC, the total comes down to about 1000+ MB. That is excessively high just to have the app open.
