Phone links not working on Ringcentral Desktop App

My team is using the standard Ringcentral app and we are unable to dial a number by clicking a call url in google chrome. It does not trigger the app to call. The RC Phone desktop app works correctly this way, but we're trying to just use the new app as it's advertised as all-in-one. Any suggestions are appreciated.

The url should have call:to and set RingCentral app as default application to get triggered
