Hi,
Here are a few troubleshooting steps that might help resolve the issue:
-
Update Apps & System Software
- Ensure your Android Auto, RingCentral app, and phone software are up to date.
- Check the Google Play Store for pending updates.
-
Test with a Different Connection
- If you're using a wireless Android Auto connection, try using a USB cable to see if the issue persists.
-
Check App Permissions
- Go to Settings > Apps > RingCentral > Permissions and make sure Microphone & Phone permissions are enabled.
If the issue continues after trying these steps, please submit a ticket at https://support.ringcentral.com/new-case.html.
I am having the same issue with my phone when using android auto as well. I have followed these steps and they did not solve my issue either. I used to be able to take calls on my android auto while driving using the ring central app, and it suddenly stopped working several months ago. The phone call connects, but I cannot hear anything from the person on the other line. Please help as this is becoming a very big issue as I use the call forwarding a lot when out of the office.
After hours on the phone with a wonderful tech…. She found out from another tech this is an issue with Samsung and android. She was NOT able to provide a timeframe for a fix. This is an app issue. I think if they do not fix it with in 30 days I will be changing providers. This is a big issue since we do pick up and delivery.
I have the same issue, very frustrating. The mobility is useless, and it is not safe. This used to work before and just stopped
