When I am using my Ringcentral desktop application, it momentarily logs and/or crashes from time to time and I am not too sure why. Has anyone else had this issue?

I haven't heard about any other customers with this issue. Have you uninstalled and reinstalled the app? I know it's a common answer, but often addresses these kinds of one-off issues.
If this doesn't help, create a case with the Support team so they can assist in some troubleshooting.
