Hi @sailorsam122,
It sounds like the affected phones may be experiencing intermittent network connectivity or firewall-related issues. Since most of your phones are working fine, but only two devices are deregistering, here are a few things to check:
i wonder if you fixed the issue. I have something like that in one of the branch offices, seems to be firewall related.
did anyone ever figure this one out?
having the same issues the past few weeks. Been running vvx450’s for around 6 years now, but this started happening recently on many across the org the past few weeks.
thank you all
We use Ring Central Polycom VVX 450s across our organization. I have 2 phones that are occasionally de-registering themselves and stating “No Service” then moments later will come back up. I don’t think it has anything to do with PoE as the phones will stay on during this time. The firewall is allowing for connections out to the IP/Port. Would having inbound connections limited affect this? The phones are on two different switches. Again this is only happening to 2 phones that I’m aware of, out of the 90+ in our environment. Any help would be appreciated. Logs consistently state the following when the outages occur:
032****|sip |4|00|CPlcmSipTcpSocket::ConnectThreadLocal Failed to connect to 104.245.57.227:5090 : Error[Operation now in progress] on SocketAddr (0x1a49940)
032****|app1 |4|00|Failure reason is Failed to connect to server : Error[Operation now in progress]

Thank you Mary, if you have a contact on that team, please let them know to review the ticket that has been previously submitted. Much appreciated.
Apologies for the late reply here, TLDR, the only thing that made a significant difference was adding a RC specific firewall rule with high priority, basically saying take any traffic from our Phone VLAN and if it’s destination matches Ring Central’s subnets, allow ALL outbound without inspection. I’d also check if your firewall has any application filters, that may also cause an issue if it’s snagging RC/Voice traffic. With those changes, now we only get 1 or 2 phones with this symptom, once in a blue moon, as opposed to all or many phones going down multiple times a week.

My issue was during a move between suites in a same building - the fiber was supposed to be physically disconnected and routed to a new floor but somehow it was still connecting with IPv6 but not IPv4 so I had some but very limited connectivity.
We have 30 phones that deregister and register in moments, and randomly. Network checked out. We updated 25 VVX450s to version 6.4.7.4513. So far, one of the 5 we did not update reported event. Anyone have this issue?
