Thinking of Switching from RingCentral

I’m thinking of switching from RingCentral to another provider. I like that I get notes of my calls and I can do webinars but I don’t like that I can’t schedule text messages and send text or reply to text messages if 13 individuals are in the thread. Will this change next year? If no, I will have to do research to see which other company has the services I need. Thank you for your time. Paula

That said, you might be interested in attending the next RingEX Unlocked webinar on December 16, where upcoming features and enhancements are discussed. Paula, I’d love to understand your use case better, as I’m not sure I’m clear on exactly what you need is.

@Mary-Community_Moderator Thank you, for your response. I did attend the webinar today. All great features were introduced. It’s only me and the 2 I wanted to know were not discussed, scheduling text messages and replying to a group text with 15 or more individuals.

  1. Scheduling text messages are totally possible. 
    You would need to use a tool like Workflow Builder to automate the process.
    Workflow Builder is a no code/low code alternative to other more complicated APIs and can schedule a trigger to execute an action like send SMS. 
  2. There is a 10-recipient limit for Group SMS. So, that may be why you are running into this problem.
