Unable to reply to text using Ring mobile app and Ring computer app, is this feature not implemented?

The previous fix I saw for this mentioned accessing the “Admin portal.” As far as I know, I don’t have access to any admin portal. How do I make it so I can send texts via Ring? I’ve been working around this issue for over a year by copying the number that send me a text and replying using the texting service on my phone.

Since I’ve had Ring, maybe a year and a half, sending texts has never worked. Maybe this account feature is disabled for me or is this something that isn’t yet integrated into the computer and phone application (both don’t work)?

This seems like a simple fix and my senior level computer programming twin brother says it shouldn’t be complicated to utilize a phone number to send a message, phones in fact do this multiple times a day.
