Yesterday RingCentral worked flawlessly.  Today, I tried to click on the web based phone number to dial.  just like I have always done.  Nothing.. Now, After review with the Ring Central team they tell me it “should be” right.  I DID notice that although Windows shows RingCentral in the app Chioces, the TEL protocol is absent. Yesterday the Ring Central icon was there,I cant select ring Central as the default app. Anyone else see this issue?

Here are a few things ou can try to resolve the issue:

 

Reinstall RingCentral

There might be a glitch or a configuration issue that occurred with a recent update. Try uninstalling and then reinstalling the RingCentral app. This can help reset its protocol associations and potentially fix the issue.

 

Check for Windows Updates

Make sure your Windows is up to date. Occasionally, these kinds of issues can be resolved by a system update that fixes underlying bugs affecting app protocols.
