We are excited to announce that the next version of Automator is almost here. This new version has been completely redesigned from the ground-up and is fully integrated into the RingCentral desktop app. At the same time we will be taking the opportunity to change Automator’s name to Workflow Builder. Workflow Builder will have all the same features of Automator, with more features to come in 2025.

What's Changing?

With the new name comes a complete redesign and a commitment to fully support this powerful tool. Since its debut, Automator has been instrumental in helping RingCentral customers automate their communication workflows, making daily tasks seamless and efficient. Workflow Builder will carry this legacy forward with enhanced features, a more user-friendly interface, and improved performance.

Some of the new changes include:

It already migrated me and the changes in the new workflow manager do not update the back-end.  I can still login to the old system and my workflows are still present and active while not allowing me to make changes because it says I’ve been migrated.  NEW SYSTEM NOT TALKING TO OLD SYSTEM. It’s causing me massive issues, I’ve been on the phone with customer support for 3 hours over this and they want screenshots and asking me to clear my cookies, try different browsers, etc.  I’m just about over it and looking for alternatives to ringcentral due to their inability to fix an issue in a timely manner.  I’m over 24 hours with txt messages going to an employee on FML.
