Clarification on GoHighLevel (GHL) Integration Options with RingCentral

Hello,

We’ve been working with RingCentral Developer Support regarding GHL integration for our practice. The support team informed us that currently the GoHighLevel integration is only available with a paid integration via App Connect.

They also shared this link for building an adapter or app:

https://appconnect.labs.ringcentral.com/build/

Our main questions are:

  1. Is the paid App Connect integration currently the only option available?

  2. If we choose to develop and publish our own application, what level of support/documentation is available for independent developers?

  3. Would using Professional Services or a trusted third-party vendor be the only way to build a reliable adapter at this point?

  4. Has anyone in the community successfully implemented a custom GHL–RingCentral integration, and if so, what path did you take?

We’re just trying to determine the most cost-effective and reliable way forward for call tracking and CRM integration.

Thanks in advance for any guidance!

Thank you for your question! Here are the answers you seek:

  • The paid version is currently the only version. It is developed by an App Connect expert and partner, Loyally. I trust them, and trust the products they make.
  • The platform is completely open and you will receive all the support you require to build your own adapter.
  • You are welcome to work with a third-party, but I strongly recommend Loyally. I would reach out to them to learn more about pricing.
  • I will leave the community to answer your last question, but I do not see evidence on the backend of such an integration existing.

If you want to learn more about building an adapter, DM me and I can share my calendly link with you.Â
