In the meantime, can you expand upon the various things you may have tried in order to get logging to work properly? Are you able to log calls manually? Or, is any kind of logging (manual or automatic) not working?
I can log a call or text into Pipedrive, but is syncs back to my calendar. When I delete it off my calendar, the log is removed from Pipedrive. ?
@mlee_closet1 That is a quirk of Pipedrive. Pipedrive logs activities as calendar events for some reason. It is not something I personally understand from a user perspective, but far be it for me to tell another PM how to design their product.
Who am I kidding? I love telling other product people how to design their products. ;)
Anyways, yes - the behavior you describe is by design. I would reach out to the Pipedrive team to see how they suggest you keep your calendar clear of events you don’t want to see there, while also being able to log activities reliably. Then come back here and tell us what you learn!
Thanks for the reply! We created a workaround to change the call or text log activity to a different type of activity in pipedrive and then choose to not sync that type of activity back to the calendar. It's a little bit clunky but keeps my calendar much much much cleaner.
