From our current testing, server side logging is still logging the author as the admin user who has it enabled. Is this true for everyone else, or is there a setting I am missing?

Hi @sburton Can you help to check if you have following conditions done:
There are 3 conditions that server side logging will log as call owner:

  1. Admin set Activity record owner to “Agent/user (if possible)” in server side logging admin setting:
    1. The agent/user should use and authorize CRM in App Connect v1.4.2. (Now it requires user to re-open App Connect window after authorization. It will be improved next version)
    2. Agent/user should have related permission to log calls.

To confirm, for server side logging to change the author to an end user, the end user has to have the app connect extension installed in the browser? As well as they have to login and connect to BH through app connect?

@sburton Correct. After installation and authorization, they can close App Connect, and make calls in any RingCentral device. Even their computer is closed, server side logging support to log calls to BH. But the end user needs to keep BH not be unauthorized in App Connect.
