We have separate numbers set up for calls coming in from our main company website, and a separate website that our company uses for specific services. Both numbers ring to the same extension. Is there a way to set up a separate ring tone, or caller ID so that I know which incoming number the caller has dialed before I answer the line?

I am trying to use Subscription API to get the call duration of the current ongoing call. But I didn't found much about this API in API Explorer. Can anyone please explain me this API in details and how to get call details using ongoing calls "sessionId"?Thanks!

I am not able to find API to delete call recordings. One of my customers does not want data to be in multiple clouds - customer requests to download the recording into our cloud and remove recordings from RingCentralCloud.

How can I access all users through API? I have an admin user and I can see all users listed on UI when i logged in as a user in the Ringcentral portal.When I want to achieve the same functionality through API, First I do not see any availability of 'client_credential' flow. I have 60 phone numbers across the country. The number of robocalls I am receiving is out of control. More than 90 out of every 100 incoming calls is a robocall. Over 120/day. You can see from my Call Log- every call under 13 seconds is a robocall/telemarketer. I'm beginning to wonder if they are blocking my real customers from calling in or having my customer incoming calls routed to their robo centers. My incoming customer calls have from 150/day to less than 20/day. It's about to shut down my business.It may not be a RingCentral problem but does anyone have any ideas how calls may not even be getting to RingCentral?I have been told that sometimes local telecom provider systems unport phone numbers automatically & they have to be re-verified but I don't know if it's true. Starting on Friday August 23rd 2019 the faxes we are sending through the API are intermittenty being recieved distorted and unreadable. It is as if they are squished to half size or less (but only vertically). It is happening to many different fax numbers we send to. Understandably people are getting upset. Any suggestions? We have not changed the way we send the faxes and I can see the PDF files in the SENT messages look correct.

Hi!I have to send faxes through RingCentral for two of the company I work for legacy applications.For one of them, I have to report back to the applicatiom, using a pretty weird mechanism, if the faxes were sent properly.Those applications only send faxes to one recipient at a time so it looks like my best bet to get the most precise fax status and error message would be to look at "messageStatus" and "faxErrorCode" under "to".hI am not sure how to interpret those statuses though and if any of them, besides "Queued" are temporary statuses or final ones...According to the doc "messageStatus" can take the following values:Queued, Sent, Delivered, DeliveryFailed, SendingFailed, ReceivedNow Queued is obviously a temporary status but what about the others. We have a message-only extension set up to receive after hour calls. It is configured to send a notification by both Email and SMS whenever a voicemail is left. This works fine most of the time.Occasionally we get only the email, but not the SMS notification, and it seems to be only when the voicemail is empty. Is this behavior by design?This is not a big problem since it only seems to happen when the voicemail is empty, but we wanted to make sure that's the only time it fails to send the SMS message. I tried to reproduce the behavior by calling and hanging up without leaving a voicemail but it always send both notifications in my testing.We are a very small company in the US with less than 15 extensions and a very simple setup.

Good afternoon! Our team is kicking around the thought of using Glip to communicate throughout our organization. I installed the Outlook plugin (Outlook2016) which seems to be working perfect except for a pretty hefty delay delivering (instant) messages. Sometimes it might send right away but the longest we have seen was as long as 15 minutes. Wondering if this is a known issue or something we may be able to configure differently to help? Where would I find and start scheduled meetings within the RC app? I've scheduled a recurring meeting and a non recurring meeting but doesn't show up where I can start those meetings. Do I need the RingCentral meetings app in order to see those?

Currently have four businesses in four locations each with a POT (Plain old Telephone) Wanted to start a new business with pickup/delivery and a new number. Wanted that new number to be the only number used when called press 1 for manager, 2 for store 1, 3 for store 3, 7 for hour and location. Can I port my current numbers of each store so they stay at each store? Can I have more than one phone at each store with same phone number like currently do with office & counter? Can I have it where if a customer calls the old store number it will forward to the new main number and then transfer to the appropriate phone? Finally can I have all calls recorded for quality control?
