This is an Idea on behalf of our customer Matt Whitfield wanted to have the ability to create Call Handling Template that will allow to Automatically Enable the Desphone under Call Handling and forwarding of the user once the Template was Applied. Also looking in the future to have the Template function as seperate for custom rule

I am not sure what you want in the call handling template. Isn't the call routing with call forwarding rules and configurations good enough? You can setup rules manually from the online admin portal or by using APIs.
If that is not what you want. Please give more details what you want to have in the template.
