Our center sends fax reports to physician offices through Ring Central. physicians who are connected to an Esker fax server are not getting our reports.Following is an email which I recved from the IT dept at SIH:

It appears we have a lot of problems with the faxes coming in from Ring Central, more than just Dr. McElheny. As you stated, Ring Central is a cloud-based phone system and it sounds like an issue with FoIP. We suspect if they were using a physical fax board or fax machine, there would not be an issue. If they have a fax machine in their office, they should test with that. They will need to contact Ring Central. The bulk of issues we see regarding fax are with virtual fax boards, followed closely by line noise. If youre still concerned that this is an issue on the receiving end of the faxes, well need to run WireShark traces, well need the Brooktrout config files and well need to open a ticket with Dialogic. . Can someone from Ring Central contact Esker and determine why this happens please.
