Can't install desktop ring central app ( Installation Failed )

Are you sure you're installing on a 32-bit system? Perhaps it's 64-bit, which would require the corresponding installer. What does the setup log tell you?

Try running the chkdsk /f command in the command prompt and then try running the installer as an administrator. Also, if you haven't restarted the computer since the issue started, make sure to do so.

For the last 60-90 days I receive an error when my windows 10 computer boots or when I login. RingCertral.exe - System Error "The code execution cannot proceed because ffmpeg.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem." I have uninstalled and reinstalled the latest RingCenral app several times. I've researched the ffmpeg.dll file and found that it can error with MicroSoft's Teams program, which I use. But, I don't have any errors associated with Teams, Just RingCentral. Any ideas?

@Tom Mansperger I guess this error is completely not associated with RingCentral and file is generally associated with the playback of video and audio files . Maybe you can get more help on Microsoft communities.

Even though the error’s popup window states “RIngCentral App - System Error” you are recommending I focus on Microsoft for the solution?

RingCentral app maybe using that file for audio/video playback purpose. That's the reason I suggested to check MS communities.

If you still feel its with your RC app, you can open a support case with RC support and request them to investigate
