Configure DND in Android to Allow Calls and Video Calls from RingCentral App Mobile

I am trying to get my Ring Central calls while my Android cell phone’s DND is active.  I found this article but am not sure what exceptions it is telling me to grant?  I have made sure that Ring Central is listed under App Notifications>>>Allow during Do not disturb
