Accounttype, US, forgot related case number, I WOULD LIKE TO BE ABLE TO SCHEDULE OUR TEAM MEMBERS FOR FUTURE ON CALL COVERAGE, ON WEEKENDS, HOLIDAYS OR WHEN ONE OF THE MEMBERS HAS TO GO ON VACATION AND SOMEONE ELSE IS ASKED TO COVER FOR SPECIFIC DATES. I HAVE TRIED TO DO THIS BUT THE USER DETAILS ALWAYS OVER RULE THE ADVANCED DATE SETTING. I HAVE TRIED TO CREATE RULES FOR FUTURE SCHEDULING BUT ONCE THE USER DETAILS ARE TURNED ON, THE EVERYONE'S EXT IS TURNED ON EVEN WHEN THEIR DATES ARE IN THE FUTURE, I HAVE ASKED FOR SUPPORT BEFORE BUT IT DID NOT HELP ME. PLEASE CALL ME AT MY OFFICE MON -FRI 925 777 6304. I NEED TO TRAIN A BACK UP PERSON TO HANDLE RING CENTRAL WHILE I AM AWAY FROM WORK,BUT CANT DO SO WITHOUT THIS IMPORTANT PIECE WITHIN THE SYSTEM. ALSO, AM HOPING THIS TOOL IS AUTOMATIC ONCE THE DATES ARE ENTERED, I DONT HAVE TO GO BACK IN THERE TO SWITCH ON AND OFF THINGS, WE USED TO HAVE THIS FEATURE LONG AGO IN RING CENTRAL, ONCE THE DATE PASSED, WE DID NOT HAVE TO GO

I prefer the older version of ring central. I don't really like the update on the home page. I really like using firefox and on it you can't see the full phone numbers in the recent calls section unless you press 'detailed.' Can this please be fixed in Firefox browser?!?

When we send a fax from someone's extension, the fax shows that it comes from a particular persons name. How do you change the name of that person to read the company name?

is there any way i can select all contacts in one time to send text messages from ring central app

Need to forward the fax number from ringcentral to outside of ringcentral system. Is there a way to do it other than to port the number out? 

We have a call queue that agents sign into to take calls. We have a wrap-up time set, to give them time between calls, but sometimes we have a need to override the wrap-up time to get another call. Is there a way to do this?

We would like the incoming ringcentral calls to have a unique ringtone for iphone.

Within a Glip chat or team, I would love to be able to add some text with a link behind it: like so.We use Glip for all internal communication in our business and I often find when I'm writing a longer post, that a long URL breaks up the flow and means that people don't always see or read everything.

We have yealink W56P wireless phones, Our router for our main number went offline and did not realize it for a entire day missing 50+ calls. Our base is directly cabled into our spectrum internet router. Is there a way to avoid this. if router resets configure for the base to always pick up new ip or to redirect calls to another number? Can we have a notification set up when a phone is offline? one of our extensions on our ivr received 41 calls over night from the same number while the main phone was not connected to the internet however there was nothing on the other end of the call when it happend. was this the system trying to redirect calls to another line but the call was never connected? What steps can I take to avoid this problem? Also is there a way to send text messages from these phones and receive and read text messages? Thanks in advance!

We need warm transfer capability for soft phones. This is something that we expected when we switched to Ring Central, but is not happening.

Question: US user! I am a newby here at Ring Central and am teting the text functionality on the desktop app. There is a paper clip to the left of the text box; does this mean I can add an attachment? What is the purpose of the paper clip? I can't seem to get it to open.

i have a virtual employee in the philippines that uses our softphone. Our previous VoIP provider had a SIP server local to asia (in hong kong) that we used for less latency. Does ringcentral have different SIP servers for users who are overseas?

Currently there is not easy way to put a call on Speaker mode on the RingCentral for Windows App. Apparently, the only way to do this is by opening the Audio Menu under Settings and manually switching the speakers to the computer speaker you want to use. For users like ours, this is kind of a pain since we all use wireless headset. All the previous softphone I have used in the past offered the user the ability to set two sets of speakers. I could switch between my headset and speaker mode by just clicking a button (same way you do it on a desk phone). Ringcentral for Windows is way more advanced than any of the softphone I have used and for it to be missing that functionality seems silly to me. This is a no brainer. You guys are great at improving the app (thanks for the last round of features made available on the latest release). Can you look into this and make it happen? Thanks!

When my office manager declines a call on her apple watch, the caller is directed to her personal voicemail, rather than our business voicemail. How do I change this?

As an Administrator, I have enabled Phone in the RingCentral app for testing on my machine.I am able to make outbound calls and receive calls as expected.As a 'user' of the RingCentral App (Glip), if someone sends me a message from the 'phone' app - this does not show in (Glip).When will this function be enabled as we use it a LOT over all of our customers in place of other messaging apps

We would like to help you understand which of the features have been adopted and to what extent within your organization so that you could drive adoption of the features and timely identify negative trends in usage. For instance, you may need to know how many people of your organization actually use Meetings or RingCentral app (Glip), how intensively and who are those who don't use and need more training on the product. How many assigned DLs are actually used, how many faxes sent and who are those who really use the feature.We're wondering which features and what metrics are the most meaningful for you. Why? Does Glip/RingCentral app automatically launch on sys start by default?Can you control this command on a global level for all users? If not, I can create a new GPO to force this action.thanks

After so many of my clients have ended up with my cell phone number and text me at all hours - I decided I would finally upgrade my Ringcentral account that I ahvehad for about 12 years to the business plan that will allow that.I can;t seem to get the RC app set up to receive texts though and wondering if it's just not really capable of what I need.I have a main account number (which i never use) and 2 business phone numbers that I answer with diff business names. I ahvealways just forwarded voice calls to my cell using the called number so I keep straight which way to answer - so I have never used the RC app.Now with wanting texting - I have to use the app - but it is looking like I have to sign into and out of each number in order to receive texts - which would totally defeat the purpose.Am I missing something or shuldI just revert to my previous less expensive plan and find an alternate solution (

Is anyone else experiencing frequent call interruptions using the RingCentral iOS app?By "interruptions" I mean that I can be on a call for 15 minutes with no problem, when suddenly I hear the tone that sounds like RingCentral is dialing again. After 10 - 45 seconds the person I'm talking to is back. If they were talking they usually didn't notice that I was gone and they are still talking when I'm reconnected. If I was talking they usually say "where did you go?" Apparently, they just hear silence during the time RingCentral is reconnecting.This seems pretty strange because the call isn't actually dropped. In other words, the person on the other end doesn't hang up, and I don't redial. On my side I don't do anything except wait and the connection is automatically re-established.This is happening once or more every day. I can be on an hour-long call with no problem at all. The

I can receive sound when I visit youtube or skype but I can't get any sound on my ringcentral desktop app. I've purchased a new mic and new headset and I still can't hear voicemail and no sound for calls.i've called tech support and they refuse to help.
