RingEX: Phone, SMS, & Fax

Sometimes if users don't use the mobile app for awhile they get logged out and then the app doesn't ring. It makes the app completely unreliable because we never know for sure if it's even ringing when someone doesn't answer. For now I'm just forwarding all calls to the users' cell numbers because that always works, but then they don't get any of the features of the mobile app. Is there any way to ensure users stay logged into the app and receive calls at all times?

How To Cancel RingCentral a Fax

Is there a way to have users phones ring or beep or something for call queue calls even while they are on the phone? Many times we would prefer to quickly wrap up the current call and pickup the new call rather than having it flow to another agent. At night we may only have one agent available and if they are on the phone the caller waits in queue until they finish or the callers end up having to leave a voicemail. I would like to at least give them the option to place the first caller on hold and pickup the new call. Is there something we should be using besides call queues to set this up? I considered creating an extension but then it looks like the only option is to forward it to other desk phones or outside numbers, not just to another extension.

What is the interaction between the Chrome extension and the Desktop app? Some of our users just started using the Chrome extension. They are all softphone-only users. I have heard of a few instances of not being able to pick up calls on the extension, or dropped calls from the extension. We did not have any reliability issues like this when only using the Desktop app. They both ring at the same time too and the co-existence is confusing. Can anyone comment as to the configuration differences between the two and why we may be experiencing issues with the Chrome extension?

I have bluetooth through my car and am using an iphone with iOS 10.3.3. When an incoming call comes in and I am connected to the car, I can't answer any calls. Help!

Our company has regular company meetings, and presentations conducted in our main office s but also have remote employees join via a ringcentral conference call. The presenter's audio in the office is fed through an onsite PA via microphone. Typically the presenter just dials in via phone and keeps it close to where they are presenting for remote employees.This setup makes it difficult for the remote employees to hear the presentation as well as makes it difficult for the onsite employees and presenter to hear questions being asked.Is there a preferred solution to connect ringcentral conference calls to our PA system?

The desktop app should have the option to ring PC/laptop speakers even when headset is plugged in.I believe this feature was available in the old softphone version.Please make this "ring PC speakers" available so we don't have to keep plugging and unplugging our headset each time we leave our desk.If this feature is available in the current desktop app, then please email me back with instructions on how to set it.The tech support person I chatted with told me ringing PC/Laptop speakers while headset is plugged in does not work.Appreciate your looking into this.thanks

Is there a way to receive an email of text messages sent?I receive email notification of text messages received, but not sent. Looking for a good paper trail solution to the whole text conversation with clients.Thank you!

(I saw a previous post like this that did not get resolved but am in need of an immediate solution so started a new post) Our call queues are set up to ring to several desktop computer apps as well as several cell phones as simultaneously. When I call comes in, and a team member wants to Ignore the call, the system will immediately ring their line again, effectively making the Ignore button useless. I would like the functionality to have the Ignore button take one out of the call queues that that incoming call, and not ring my extension again. This is different that changing my status to Busy/Do Not Accept Calls, as I want to be able to pass on calls, but without taking myself out of the call queue all together. The Ignore button should allow me to ignore a specific call, without the system continuously ringing my extension.

I am curious as to what happens to calls when the internet is down or a phone is in reboot?  Will the call still run via Smart Phone App?  Would the call go straight to VM?  Would the call show still in my overview/call log??? We are having issues with our internet right now and some are complaining about the dial out... I am more curious as to the dial in...

Should I expect to get fax confirmations when I send faxes using 5105551212@rcfax.com the same way as when I send them from the desktop app?

We have close to 100 people a day call us to confirm that we have received there fax. Is there a way whether it be through a work around on Ringcentral or 3rd party service that will Auto Reply a confirmation to the senders fax number that we received the fax?

I am getting texts in another language and want to block the number. All of the previous conversations I've found on this support center only address voice and fax features. Is there a way to block a number from the text feature?
