When I Request Control of Desktop using the Remote Support feature our users are being asked to enter in admin credentials. This entirely defeats the purpose of this tool for us. Is there a way to fix this?

No Service on my Business line after transferring number

I've deleted and reinstalled the app several times with no luck. My microphone works fine with any other app. It seems like the app is not asking for permission to use the microphone. Under Settings>Privacy>Microphone there are no apps listed requesting access to the microphone.

I have an existing W60B base unit and a W56H handset. They have never been set up through RingCentral. I believe they were on the old Ooma phone system. I want to hook them into RingCentral and assign them new numbers. How do I do that?

In a recent update the icon for the Dashboard has been moved from the far-left to under the 'more' menu. Moreso the default Glip view is conversations pane.Why did something think that hiding the Dashboard is a good idea? This matter is even worse because the functionality to send email reminders of forgotten tasks has also been removed.The Dashboard is the most important part of Glip, its where I need to start every day (and many times a day). I really dont care to have conversations shown to me at all. the notifications work well enough to tell me to read something.With the Dashboard out of sight its also out of mind, and is not an effective tool for managing my day anymore. Of course I can go look for the dashboard, but thats not the point. When trying to implement new habits with a new system takes some time, hiding the dashboard doesnt help.Surely if someone else didnt like the Dashboard bei

There is an option in the RC Phone desktop app, under Settings > Calls called 'Show called site names for incoming calls'.There is nothing in the user guide about this option, and not easily found anything on the community. Can someone explain what this option does please?

How many participants can join and share video in a RingCentral Rooms setup?

I am having problems trying to connect to the Ringcentral App. I am trying to work from home and forward the calls to my cell phone.

I have a Galaxy S8 and under a Verizon plan. I have both the RC Phone and Ring Central app. I am unable to receive inbound calls to my extension on my cell phone. It either does not prompt me, or prompts me for a half of a second and the prompt disappears almost immediately to accept the call. The extension works just fine on the desk phone in my office, but it does not prompt me when I'm at home/out of the office on my cell apps.

My Caller ID comes up as "Scam Likely" on other people's phones. When I look at my settings, it has my compeny name. HELP!

This information does not help because this does not work. When you go into schedule for someone else (who you have permission to schedule for), the name is not there, or you click on the name but the wrong name gets scheduled instead of the name you clicked on. Some names don't even show up as real names. They show up as random numbers. We will have to use Zoom now instead of Ringcentral, because this problem is causing so much trouble. When some of our Chromebook users launch a scheduled meeting via the Ring Central Glip Meetings app the record button is missing. When they go to their Admin RC account, choose Meetings, then choose Meeting Settings, they are unable to click on the Recordings tab to review their settings, it just reloads the Meeting tab.Other Chromebook users report they aren't being recognized as the host even though the meeting indicates that they are the one that scheduled the meeting. Again they are unable to record. They are also unable to use End Meeting, their only option is to Leave Meeting.All of these things happen intermittently. We're unable to pinpoint the cause.All users have the same chromebook model.

Forgive me, I am new to RingCentral. I have just bought a couple of tablets and want to use them for video calls. I would like to have a separate number/log in for each tablet (they will be at two different locations). I do not want them to be associated with any of the other lines we have. Can anyone talk me through how to set this up as I wasn't able to find anything this specific? Should i use the meeting app as opposed to the generic RingCnetral App?We are RingCentral UK.Thank you.

Had a RingCentral meeting with a client where we were successfully able to remote control the user's computer, but nothing responded to mouse clicks. We could move the mouse, but clicks would not do anything. It was a Windows 10 computer.

I have a requirement where i need to delete few Account records from my Production and do backup for them in seperate sandbox.Backup of Accounts should also include all its related lists data including ATTACHMENTS.Am unable to export& backup attachments on those specific records that are to be deleted.I did "Data Export" and also i exported through Data Loader using "Attachments" Object but i couldn't get any files except their Id's.Can Someone help with your valuable suggestions?

With the new update, my plantronics headset works fine with every other app, other than RingCentral. It acts like it's going to work, and then goes back to speaker or phone and will not accept the bluetooth or headset function now. - HELP

Most of our employees are working from home right now. A few of us still her to answer the phones. If a customer calls our direct line it rings to our to our cell phones but is there anyway to make the main line ring to a cell phone?

I have a US account.As of Thursday the March 12th I stopped being able to receive text messages back. After doing some testing we discovered that we can no longer send text messages to the main number. Apparently I can text to one of the assigned numbers but not the main number.When I text out the main number is number that people are asked to respond with.I do not want people to see my assigned number. Please advise.No updates made on our side just randomly stopped working.

I invited a contact while using Glip. This contact now shows along with my companys three users. I cant find a way to delete this contact. I can close the conversation but not remove the contact.
