HiI am trying to get my access token using curl command. I looked at Question "https://devcommunity.ringcentral.com/ringcentraldev/topics/curl-command-for-requesting-access-token" but it is not working for me.I am always getting : { "error" : "invalid_grant","error_description" : "Invalid resource owner credentials."}My credential are correct and also I tried with secret/access key and enoced it to base64 as well but for both the cases its throwing me the same above error.If my credential are invalid I should not be able to login to web dashboard itself. I am bit confused here and not sure where I am going/doing wrong.Thanks,Pratap

If I have an access token, how should I proceed to log in?

I want to persist access token life time remain same once i got after login.is there any way to do it ?. other thing is can i get access token from back end without opening RingCentral Popup or login page ?we are having C# and JavaScript base application.

Does RingCentral recommend anything as far as safely storing your OAuth Access Token? Is it okay to save it in plain text in my database and allow users to see it? Should it be hidden from users? Should it be encrypted?

I want to update our database any time a messageStatus changes to "DeliveryFailed". The message_store event sends a notification anytime a message is updated, but it does not include any message IDs to fetch the messageStatus.I know I can fetch the message list and cycle through results to update the status, but this seems inefficient since there is no way of filtering on messageStatus.Is there a subscription or event that will send a notification with message ID any time delivery fails? If not, what would be the most efficient way to update messages that failed delivery?

I'm working with my coder on a script for sending SMS. It is server-based and no user interaction. The PHP script is performing the Authorization Code Flow and getting a token for the instance each time the script is called (/restapi/oauth/token). This appears to not be the preferred method as there is a limit of "5 requests / 60 secs". So if we attempt to send more than 5 SMS requests in a 60 second period, we are getting rejected with "Request rate exceeded", I believe because the multiple token requests.What is a better way to code this to avoid the Rate request exceeded error response? We do not have a way to multithread or internally cache the token information.We also are not using the PHP SDK. I am new to the RingCentral developer API so forgive me if this is too basic.I want to use the RingCentral API to sent out-bound SMS to my customers. Rather than use (and pay for) a 3rd party like Twilio, I am already a RingCentral customer.In the docs, the examples are all of sending text messages within my company via RingCentral.BUT, I need to send TXT from my company number to my customers.Can I use the RingCentral API web service to sent SMS to customers - or - am I limited to only inside my company?Thanks!

I'm new to RC and am trying to set up FaxOut using the fax api (https://service.ringcentral.com/faxapi.asp) However, whenever I hit it with a post request I get a 503 temporarily unavailable error. Is that service currently down? and, if so, when is it expected to got back up?

Hey guys I just got RingCentral, I really like it. Only thing is I also have SugarCRM and none of my employees log their calls. Is there any solution that automatically adds calls to contacts and leads in the crm?

I have two questions:(1) What is the maximum delay in milliseconds between a phone call coming in to RingCentral (by means of both soft/hard phones) and the sending of its "Ringing" notification by PubNub Push Notifications. I have the stats from PubNub (they try for 100ms) but I dont know how much time is added from RingCentral activity.(2) I also need the same info when the notification is sent from RingCentral via the web hook approach.More generally, is there any SLA info for the RingCentral Rest API? I can't seem to find anything so thought I'd ask.

Why can't a view-only account "view only"? They still have the ability to delete call logs and recordings. The audit log doesn't log deleted calls either. Need this please!

I have a project using the RingCentral .Net SDK to access RingCentral call logs by extension and store them in SQL Server for custom reporting.The process runs as expected through many extensions, but then fails at with a message "Service Temporary Unavailable". (yes, it says "Temporary" and not "Temporarily".) This does not occur on the same extension each time.I am throttling my requests and have determined that this is not a Rate Limit error. Any ideas are appreciated.

Calls are no longer logging an activity in the Salesforce instance. Unsure how to troubleshoot

I have a jabra vxi v300 and a Lenovo laptop. The laptop doesn't even recognize that the headset is plugged in, so when trying to use it with ringcentral, it simply plays through my laptop speakers. Anyone have any insight as to how to fix this? Thanks!

Whenever the desktop phone rings on my Mac (Version 10.14.5), a voicemail plays. The only way to stop this happening, is to delete the voicemails from the app. However, when a new voicemail is left, the same problem occurs. I have tried deleting and reinstalling the desktop app. If I answer the call, the voicemail plays while I try to speak to the caller (so can't hear the caller), and the caller can hear the other person (in the voicemail) speak. It is all very strange and very disruptive. I updated to the latest version of the app and still the problem persists. This has gone on for weeks and now happens on every call. Any ideas?

Is the RingCentral phone app for Windows desktop supported and compatible to work in an RDS (Remote Desktop Server) version 2019? And if it is.... The entire day the "Graduation Requirements" section for my application shows N/A on all fields and the error message "Error occurs.
