I'm new to RC and am trying to set up FaxOut using the fax api (https://service.ringcentral.com/faxapi.asp) However, whenever I hit it with a post request I get a 503 temporarily unavailable error. Is that service currently down? and, if so, when is it expected to got back up?

Hey guys I just got RingCentral, I really like it. Only thing is I also have SugarCRM and none of my employees log their calls. Is there any solution that automatically adds calls to contacts and leads in the crm?

We have tried to use RingCentral API with our CallMonitoring application and it fails because of RingCentral response with permission error on some requests. Here is this error below:05:22:41.910 E Open error: [ReadPresence] application permission is required for the following event filter: [/restapi/v1.0/account/2632450008/extension/2632566008/presence]It tells that our application have no ReadPresence permission, bit it is selected in application settings and works for same application in Sandbox. We have tried different extensions in Production and always get same permission error. This error need to be fixed to make application operating.

I have two questions:(1) What is the maximum delay in milliseconds between a phone call coming in to RingCentral (by means of both soft/hard phones) and the sending of its "Ringing" notification by PubNub Push Notifications. I have the stats from PubNub (they try for 100ms) but I dont know how much time is added from RingCentral activity.(2) I also need the same info when the notification is sent from RingCentral via the web hook approach.More generally, is there any SLA info for the RingCentral Rest API? I can't seem to find anything so thought I'd ask.

Why can't a view-only account "view only"? They still have the ability to delete call logs and recordings. The audit log doesn't log deleted calls either. Need this please!

I have a project using the RingCentral .Net SDK to access RingCentral call logs by extension and store them in SQL Server for custom reporting.The process runs as expected through many extensions, but then fails at with a message "Service Temporary Unavailable". (yes, it says "Temporary" and not "Temporarily".) This does not occur on the same extension each time.I am throttling my requests and have determined that this is not a Rate Limit error. Any ideas are appreciated.

Calls are no longer logging an activity in the Salesforce instance. Unsure how to troubleshoot

I have a jabra vxi v300 and a Lenovo laptop. The laptop doesn't even recognize that the headset is plugged in, so when trying to use it with ringcentral, it simply plays through my laptop speakers. Anyone have any insight as to how to fix this? Thanks!

Whenever the desktop phone rings on my Mac (Version 10.14.5), a voicemail plays. The only way to stop this happening, is to delete the voicemails from the app. However, when a new voicemail is left, the same problem occurs. I have tried deleting and reinstalling the desktop app. If I answer the call, the voicemail plays while I try to speak to the caller (so can't hear the caller), and the caller can hear the other person (in the voicemail) speak. It is all very strange and very disruptive. I updated to the latest version of the app and still the problem persists. This has gone on for weeks and now happens on every call. Any ideas?

Is the RingCentral phone app for Windows desktop supported and compatible to work in an RDS (Remote Desktop Server) version 2019? And if it is.... How does it get installed, since when I tried to install it using the preferred method for installing apps on a Remote Desktop Server and subsequently ran it on a thin client, I received this error:

Glip is used by our whole business across several countries as a means to have quick collaborative conversations. Controlling when an update occurs in Glip would be of value. Updates to Glip pop up as a notification but there is no means to control when it happens. Work in progress is lost when the update runs. Ideally users should be able to delay the update until finishing a message or select to have it update at a later time.

I am having trouble finding a way to authorize a user using an access token with the re-written RingCentral.NET sdk.In every example I have found in the documentation, it requires you to authorize the RestClient with a username and password. I would much rather authorize with the password once, store the access token, and then handle token refreshes and authorization by passing in the access token.For api calls (i.e. RingOut) there is no option to pass an access token as a parameter.As an example scenario, if someone in my app authorizes their account with a username and password, I encrypt and store the access token. If they for some reason close my app and re-open it within a short time period, I cannot re-authorize the app using the decrypted token that I have stored. I have to pass in the username and password again to get a new token.It seems to me that there is

It looks like RingCentral is forcing the new mobile app on us but we are having some trouble making the switch. Every time you open the app it defaults to the Glip screen which shows a sort of "news feed" of messages but does not include recent calls/missed calls. We don't use Glip at all in our company and just need the app to default to the Phone screen instead. Is there any way to make this happen?

Cant uninstall or update RingCentral on a PC that has need been used for a long time. The error says the PC is missing RingCentral for Windows Desktop Version 8.0.4. In order to uninstall or update the application the installer of 8.0.4 version is needed. I have called RC support and was told they dont have a copy that old. Any ideas??

When attempting to activate an account on the RingCentral test portal when clicking 'Set Up Account' the link followed hangs and doesn't do anything; Ideally I would like to see my account activated so I can test with it.Kind regards,Snakeboard.

We've been seeing the message "unstable internet connection" a lot during our RingCentral Meetings and the video "freezing" (and  "unstable internet connection" message) on our RingCentral Rooms setup.  Starting to troubleshoot and was curious is the list of RC Supernets listed here: https://support.ringcentral.com/s/article/9233?language=en_US#6.Supernets covered just Phones or if it included all 3 services (Phones, Meetings and Rooms).
