in accessing the call log with the uri of https://platform.devtest.ringcentral.com/restapi/v1.0/account/xxxx/extension/xxxx/call-log the view is simple. trying .../call-log/?view=detailed i get nothing back.

The API dev doc says to try .../call-log/detail but this also gives a 400 error. what is the correct way to get the detailed call log?

Hi Patrick,

The correct URI for the detailed call log view is :

https://platform.devtest.ringcentral.com/restapi/v1.0/account/~/extension/~/call-log?view=Detailed

The 400 error is because of the Invalid Authorization.

You could also look at our API Explorer ( http://ringcentral.github.io/api-explorer/ ) :

Get Token API ( to authenticate your application )

Get Call Log Records by Filter API and select view parameter as "Detailed"

To resolve the authentication issue of 400, make sure you are using the auth api call correctly.

Request url https://platform.devtest.ringcentral.com/restapi/oauth/token for dev env
