This might sound like a dumb question so I apologize up front but in our small office, we're are confused as to which app we should be using...the RingCentral app or the Glip app or do we need both as they have separate functionality?

About Glip. RingCentral Glip is a free team messaging app that increases your work productivity by empowering your team to communicate and collaborate in real-time which also has Calling functionality ( reach out to Tech support to help you setup calling functionality for your app )

RingCentral Softphone:  https://www.ringcentral.com/office/features/softphone/overview.html

If you just want the ability to make calls and not internal messaging/ chatting capabilities , use Softphone . Glip is far more superior and allows lot more features though.

Thanks!! We have both but I wasn't sure which one to use for which purpose. It sounds like Glip can do all the functions that RingCentral can do and more. Does that make sense?
