I downloaded the RingCentral phone app and am unable to login in with my RC phone number or my main login account. I literally copied and pasted the values over and it won't let me login. Should my sandbox number work?

By default it is set to production.
you can use the RingCentral soft phone and switch the soft phone to sandbox mode before login with your sandbox credentials.
