When some of our Chromebook users launch a scheduled meeting via the Ring Central Glip Meetings app the record button is missing. When they go to their Admin RC account, choose Meetings, then choose Meeting Settings, they are unable to click on the Recordings tab to review their settings, it just reloads the Meeting tab.Other Chromebook users report they aren't being recognized as the host even though the meeting indicates that they are the one that scheduled the meeting. Again they are unable to record. They are also unable to use End Meeting, their only option is to Leave Meeting.All of these things happen intermittently. We're unable to pinpoint the cause.All users have the same chromebook model.

Forgive me, I am new to RingCentral. I have just bought a couple of tablets and want to use them for video calls. I would like to have a separate number/log in for each tablet (they will be at two different locations). I do not want them to be associated with any of the other lines we have. Can anyone talk me through how to set this up as I wasn't able to find anything this specific? Should i use the meeting app as opposed to the generic RingCnetral App?We are RingCentral UK.Thank you.

Had a RingCentral meeting with a client where we were successfully able to remote control the user's computer, but nothing responded to mouse clicks. We could move the mouse, but clicks would not do anything. It was a Windows 10 computer.

I have a requirement where i need to delete few Account records from my Production and do backup for them in seperate sandbox.Backup of Accounts should also include all its related lists data including ATTACHMENTS.Am unable to export& backup attachments on those specific records that are to be deleted.I did "Data Export" and also i exported through Data Loader using "Attachments" Object but i couldn't get any files except their Id's.Can Someone help with your valuable suggestions?

With the new update, my plantronics headset works fine with every other app, other than RingCentral. It acts like it's going to work, and then goes back to speaker or phone and will not accept the bluetooth or headset function now. - HELP

Most of our employees are working from home right now. A few of us still her to answer the phones. If a customer calls our direct line it rings to our to our cell phones but is there anyway to make the main line ring to a cell phone?

I have a US account.As of Thursday the March 12th I stopped being able to receive text messages back. After doing some testing we discovered that we can no longer send text messages to the main number. Apparently I can text to one of the assigned numbers but not the main number.When I text out the main number is number that people are asked to respond with.I do not want people to see my assigned number. Please advise.No updates made on our side just randomly stopped working.

I invited a contact while using Glip. This contact now shows along with my companys three users. I cant find a way to delete this contact. I can close the conversation but not remove the contact.

We have Ring Groups setup for incoming calls to our offices main BTN's. Currently we have several admin who are a part of a Ring Group who are usually in the offices working from home. After installing the RC Phone application on their personal computers and deauthorizing the application on their work computers I expected them to see calls to the main office numbers via the application and to be able to answer the calls, transfer, park,etc as if they were in the office. this doesn't seem to be working. When calling the main number they receive no notification via the application. However if i call there personal DID or Extension the application notifies them of a incoming call. Any ideas what may be happening, while in the office they are notified of calls that are incoming to the main line via the application.

I've tried using a cheap set of in-ear headphones with the mic attached to one of the cables and an over-ear set similar to a 'gaming' style head set.

I am getting an error using the Production credentials for my app; the Sandbox credentials had worked fine and I didn't run into any issues. I have custom object and it has Notes and Files related list, I want to restrict to one Note and one File for each custom record. Would that be possible?

What is the default account to which cases that do not find a match in the contacts email field are assigned to? Or are they not assigned to any account?

I have a Polycom VVX410 with 12 presence buttons on the display. I can program 100 prescense buttons in the Web Portal and the first 12 show up on the phone. How do you get to the rest of the ones on the phone that were programmed into the web portal? Kinda seems worthless to put more into the web portal?

We are looking to mount a physical wallboard (smart TV) and wanted to know what that would look like - is it literally needing another ID that logs in to display that data daily - or does RC allow for an external link for a dashboard so it can be see/shared/accessed on a smart TV?Also any tips on resolution/best practices?
