There appear to be 2 official C# SDKs for use with RingCentral API: 1. https://github.com/ringcentral/ringcentral-csharp 2. https://github.com/ringcentral/ringcentral-csharp-client What is the difference between these two? Which one is preferred for accessing the API?

How do messages tie back to call logs? I need to get the message information for all call legs/logs that resulted in a voicemail, and cannot find the relationship between the two objects. Currently, the only IDs that I see in the detailed message data are the messageId and attachementId. The call logs have a sessionId, but I do not know what this ties to, and the call legs only have a callLogId, and a LegId.Any help in identifying the relationship would be greatly appreciated.Thanks!

I need a Desk.com ticket to be spawned whenever someone dials either of the two RingCentral numbers that are associated with two of my company's cell phones. Desk.com's support desk informed me that this integration requires an API message from RingCentral.

Is it possible to query the api for the call log and retrieve the logs for ALL associated extensions? As it stands now, I have to make a separate call for each extension to get all the logs. I see the option to filter by a single extension, but I don't believe I saw the option for all extensions in the parameters for the call log api. But perhaps I am missing something? Is there maybe a certain keyword I can use for the extension parameter that will give me all extensions?

I'm using the/restapi/v1.0/account/~/extension/{extensionId}/call-log URL to download call logs, and I'm passing view=Detailed into the querystring, to make sure I get detailed call log entries.However, I do not seem to be able to find "Voicemail" logs in the results. I see them in the "Call Log" page of RingCentral, but not the API call-log results. Anyone else experiencing this? All of the other entry types seem to be coming down okay. I also checked the "leg" data of the results in case it was buried in there, but still didn't see it.

I am at my wits end. I love Ring Central service but would like to try a more advanced phone (Yealink t48G . Although I am not a developer I am having issues as a customer finding someone that would help me. I am looking for the "Extension" id that can be used with blf to monitor that extension. I am trying to figure out a workaround solution for archiving all (sent and received) RingCentral SMS messages via a channel that our archiving provider, Smarsh, can access. Is it possible to have SMS auto-forwarded to an RSS feed? Smarsh can archive a private page on our website, and then pull the messages into the archive. So -- is it possible? Thanks for your input!

Is there a particular reason why error response bodies in a multi-part response don't actually include any details?Take the following response text for example. There's no identifying extension id or url attached to the error response, which would be highly useful for logging and debugging purposes (yes, that the extension 404s is noted in the response "manifest" above the individual responses, but the only way to correlate the error items there with any error messages below is to rely on order.)At the very least, it seems reasonable to replace [extensionId] in the error message with the actual extensionId. I would like to be able to record call dispositions in our CRM system upon call completion. I set up a subscription to receive call related notifications (/restapi/v1.0/account/~/extension/~/presence?detailedTelephonyState=true&sipData=true) which seems to work fine. However, I do not see a link between notifications and call log entries which have the final disposition information attached and/or potential link to the voicemail recording. I can: 1) link notification and call log entries by sessionId for connected calls (both inbound and outbound) I cannot: 1) link "Ringing" or "NoCall" final notification to a Missed (inbound) call 2) link "Ringing" or "NoCall" final notification to a Voicemail (inbound) call 3) related to #2, I am not able to fetch the recording id I see call log ids when I list calls but they do not appear in web-hook notifications. I am attempting to subscribe to push notifications. When I send the request I am receiving the error code 'SUB-520' with description 'Validation Token is not returned'. I can't find anything in the API documentation about this whatsoever. I see the request come in to my server with a custom HTTP header called VALIDATION_TOKEN. I tried many ways to reply to this, but nothing I have tried works. What am I missing?

I would like to be able to dynamicaly stop / start call recording based off some event in our 3rd party system using the RC APIs. We are recording all calls at the trunk level and when one of our agents start taking Credit Card information we would like to stop the recording. Once agent finishes taking that information we would start the recording again. Is this possible?

I am able to launch RC meetings and join a meeting using the following command line parameters."--url=zoomrc://ringcentral.us/join?action=join&confno=9999999999"where 9999999999 is the meeting ID.Is there a way to specify the login credentials from the command line? i.e. phone number and password?The reason for the question is we want to provide an easy link to our users in meeting rooms that will allow them to start the room as the meeting host without needing to enter the credentials. We have inbound calls that get transferred one or more times within the company. When I look at the json data for those multiple legs, there is nothing that ties them together. I saw a post from Benjamin Dean that states:"You can use the 'sessionId' property as that is unique across multiple legs of a call. we are using the windows service to create the subscription and this windows service will be running always in the server, after couple of hours or more than those hours the subscription is not working and we have to start and stop the windows service to start the sending the SMS again.do we need to do this always? do we have any mechanism to continuously keep running the service and sending the SMS all times.
