I need access to the EditAccounts permission.We are using the API to manage dynamically call queues and this is a required permission in order to do so. We wish to update the users in a call queue via our application.

I am pulling the call log via the API using:/restapi/v1.0/account/{accountId}/extension/{extensionId}/call-logI get the information requested except the Extension Number. I am looking for an app or a CRM that will enable me to make phone calls where the pin numbers, extension numbers etc are embedded with the phone number? With my disability, I'm not able to use the keypad fast enough to dial these numbers after the connection is made. Will RingCentral do that? If not, do you know which app or CRM might have that feature?

we basically need to implement fax services into our web based product(Made using c# and javascript) and we are having multiple customers.If we want to write the app once and use it for multiple customers, does each customer have to register for a developer account and get a unique app key and app secret or can we use the same ones generated for our app under our developer account? there should be different fax number for each customer that is what we want.so do i need create separate application for each customer to have separate fax number for them or anything else i need to do ?

Sorry for such a simple question. I'm retrieving detailed call log data and trying to determine which RC user picked up the inbound call.I'd thought I could just look at each Call where call result= "Accepted"and final leg result = "Accepted"and the call recipient would be the 'to' of the receiving RC user.Instead, I'm mostly seeing the 'to' number as something I don't recognise, but the 'from' is an RC user.last Leg from call where Call 'from' was a customer phoning in, eg:"result": "Accepted","to": {"phoneNumber": "+440000000005" <-- no idea about this (example) number},"from": {"name": "Bob Dobbs", <!-- Bob is an RC UserWhat should I be looking at to determine which user picked up an Incoming call?Sorry if I'm not being clear. I need to tie each phone call in the call log to the corresponding extension id. Currently there is no way to do that when I am querying the call log at the account level. Am I out of luck? -Dan

We need to create a monitor that will show any income calls in our extranet in live time.We were able to show active calls by using "/account/~/extension/~/active-calls", however, to achieve what we need we would need to make a request each second which I guess will be blocked by rate limits.Is there a better solution for it?Thanks

I download the call log and the recorded calls daily. The call log is a csv file and the calls are mp3 files. They all come together in a zip file. I then run that through some automated processes. That all works great.What I would like to do is request that exact information via an API call. I've looked through the documentation and seen a lot of detailed data that I can request, but how can I simply get the equivalent of the download file?

We are a software company that is integrated with Ring Central via text/sms.However, we have a client that needs a more specific setup and I wanted to run this by you to see if you all know how to best achieve this:They want a dedicated number that has a more specific IVR setup.It would have a directory (that would work as a dial up directory) based on Unit or Home names instead of people. For exampleIf I type SEA on the keypad, it will generate the following units or homes: SeaSpray, Sea Adventures, Sea Stay; etc.Once a unit has been chosen, it would then give them a list of options for the housekeeping team. So long story short as we can't use RingOut as a super admin with another users extensionID per this topic I downloaded the Javascript SDK and basically used the demos that were provided.This works fine in Chrome but I have end users using Internet Explorer (and can not use Chrome for various reasons) and what we're seeing is users are getting a blank page after logging in to RingCentral and authorizing our app.The blank page is our return page i.e. demo/oauth/redirect.htmlF12 browser developer tools shows error "RingCentral" is undefined. Are there issues with this SDK and Internet Explorer 11?

We've been working with RingCentral for a little over 3 months. RingCentral has never created a new Zendesk ticket when an incoming call is received. I've gone through every article on Zendesk and RingCentral that I can find, with no result. Has anyone else had this issue? How do I solve?

I'm trying to help my developer and he needs an example of some sort.We are currently using the authorization flow method for retrieving tokens. This is a concern as the refresh tokens time out within an hour. We are using a text app that triggers text globally, so it's a 24 hour operation that doesn't have someone available to login and authorize the app every hour. With the call log app, we pull that data throughout the day and night, so we'll need the authorization current for that as well.Has anyone been able to get the authorization access and refresh tokens to renew on an automatic basis? For example, the initial login and authorization of the app would be done once, then the refresh token would be renewed every 55-57 minutes and the access token would renewed every six days. Even if the user has to do an initial login and authorization, that's fine, as long as the subsequent authorization tokens are automated.I'm looking for any ideas or solutions, prefer

We'd like to integrate Ring Central with our user provisioning automation. In the Developing with RingCentral documentation it talks about "EditExtensions" and "EditAccounts" permissions, but I'm not seeing any API calls for making modifications. Is this possible in the API?

Can you call the *804 (or whatever the number is... I can't remember off the top of my head) with the extension that follows on a Ring out call to be able to listen/whisper to that user's phone conversation?If it's possible, what is the parameter you pass in to the toNumber in the Ring Out Api request json?
