I am trying to set up a shared lines group. When it asks me to select an existing number or add a new number, it says "no existing numbers found". I have 4 numbers and each number has an assigned phone that is provisioned with Ring Central. I have the premium account.

There is a list of available music on hold files within the web interface. I would like to be able to download all of them to create custom music and message on hold. Asking RC Support I was told that this was not possible.However, this post: https://community.ringcentral.com/ringcentral/topics/hold-music-sg4jkrw3i48lmSeems to prove otherwise. If anyone knows how to download the files, please tell me. I would appreciate it.Thanks

Hi there, I just got back from small vacation and I have my out of office OFF but when someone dials my direct line it goes directly to voicemail and I don't have my DND on. Any ideas how I can fix this?

There is a problem with Refused numbers.The only time we see the refused numbers is in "Analytic" but does not show which numbers are missed, so our users call them back.The only place that we can see the numbers, is in "Call Log" but you can find all the numbers but the one with Column "Refused"there is a glitch or issue, that need to be fixed.We have so many users refused some calls, they don't know how they got that error, but they don't know how to call them back, because the cannot see.my name is Eric, and email is evartanian@law888.com phone: 626-363-2119Thank you.

When someone texts me through my RingCentral number or I get a Voicemail, I don't get any push notifications on my Android phone (Galaxy S8+) until I open the Ring Central app. This means it might be hours or even days before I see that there's a message, missing important communication.I've looked for notification settings within the app and in everything seems to be turned on. How do I fix this?

We are going to allow BYOD for the RC Phone app. I need to know which versions of iOS and Android are supported.

as i can see in glip, any member of my company can view the task of all other members by using the sorting options in the task screen.is there any way to control that so the user can only view his/her own tasks or the task he/she created or the task in the team that he/she is part of it?

Wondering when Ring Central will include the ability to add a 2nd caller to an existing call with the iphone app? For me this is a very important feature.

Was recently forced to update to 10.14.6 (Mojave) and now Glip (desktop) refuses to load at all.....can anyone tell me if there is a fix for this? I tried uninstalling and re-installing, and even tried re-installing an older (saved .dmg) version that I know worked fine before the Mojave update. Or possibly there is some other setting in Mojave I need to activate first?

When I schedule a recurring meeting using the Outlook plug-in, it shows in the RingCentral Meetings App. However, when I change a single occurrence, that occurrence does not integrate to the App. I cannot start the meeting from the App. I must start the meeting from Outlook.Service Plan: RingCentral Office Premium 300 lines US, 100 lines UK, federated account (500+ extensions)We are a leading manufacturer of photonics technology.

I have both RingCentral and Google Calendar (we use G-suite) installed in my Android Work Profile (using Android 8, Samsung S8).When I click a phone number in Google Calendar, it automatically dials via RingCentral. Other apps launch my default phone dialer. I have cleared all default apps from Calendar and RingCentral, but can't seem to prevent this behavior.I would prefer that my standard Phone dialer is used for all phone numbers from within the Work Profile.Any suggestions?Best,Marc

I have a RC Office Premium account. I am trying to set it up so that if someone calls in and presses 1 for sales, my desk phone rings first and if I don't answer, the call goes to an external number (answering service).I do not want all calls to my desk phone forwarding to the answering service, only callers who pressed 1 for sales and then I didn't answer in time.Since call queues do not let you no-answer-forward to an external number, RC support created a new "Extension" in the users tab (Sales, ext 1) and set up call handling rules to first ring my ip phone and then go to an external number.My question: will I be billed extra for this?I have read many forum posts about RC's deceptive billing for non-device/non digital line extensions. I just signed up and am frustrated that this system, with all its complexity, can't accomplish what I need, and worse that I could be hit with a surprise bill later. There was a RC update last night to the app on my computer. Now the calendar icon that used to at the bottom right is no longer there. Is there a way to put that back? That is the icon I use the most from that bottom row of icons.

How do I consistently receive the option to rate calls?I recieved a notification on my desktop once (in the last two weeks) to rate the call. I would like to be able to provide that feedback consistently. I believe it would result in more accurate analytics. I've looked through settings and do not see the option to receive this request with each call. A representative said this is not currently a function. However, I experienced it - so it does exist.

Last week the event and notifications docs changed and this event is missing and there is a bunch of new ones.Does the Telephony Sessions Event replace this?

Trying to change the Presence numbers on my desk phone (VVX 411). The changes take and show while in the configuration setup online (https://service.ringcentral.com/application/settings/settings/phonesAndNumbers/phone), but don't make it to the actual phone whenever I select a reset of the phone to push those changes. Any thoughts?

Call Queue Settings

We want to enable photo sharing in Glip, but not file sharing.The audit and governance around Glip is not enough for us to enable colleagues to share files through Glip and instead we will be using Teams and Sharepoint.. However, we do have use cases strong enough to allow photo messaging between colleagues or within a group/team.How do we enable photos without enabling files?I can see in the admin portal an option to enable sharing files from mobile/PC but I'd like to separate these out and have colleagues able to share photos and access camera only.Is this possible?We are in the UK - may make a difference as we seem to have more limited functionality over here for some reason :-(

If I park a call using the mobile or desktop app I then cant retrieve it from the web phone (Chrome extension). I can dial the parked extension (e.g. *803) but get a busy tone. Any ideas? If I dial the parked extension from the mobile or desktop app I can retrieve the call from there so I dont think its a presence or permission issue. Any help would be appreciated.
