Is there an API to control the Rooms app? Like to start/stop meetings, start sharing or whiteboard, giving the same controls as the in room tablet interface?Thanks

Currently, our company has two Salesforce licenses (1 salesforce org) and 2 Ring central accounts. Currently, if one person logs in RC using their credentials, the same RC account also gets logged in for the other Salesforce user.How can each Salesforce user login into their own RC account?

Currently our system is set through IVR to dispatch automated text messages when certain departments are closed. We are doing this by integrating a user extension assigned to a line on phone wagon.For example... customer wants to junk their car for a fixed price of $200 and can submit their information with a link thats dispatched through text. Customer presses 1 and that user is and extension that rings a line on Phonewagon. The phone wagon extension does not answer but is instructed to dispatch a predefined text to that customer allowing them to submit their information and dispatching the job.Recent changes now charge us $59.95 for each text extension we have. This is ridiculous especially that Ringcentral has text messaging capabilities. So my question is, can you administratively set a user setting to reply with a message only when that extension does not answer? My phone bill has pratically doubled from $600 to $1100 overnight and we may be moving to vonage. I like ringcentral an

It seems that there is no way to accept queue calls on the glip version of the RingCentral app. This would be very helpful especially to those who work on remote desktops.Is this expected to be a feature anytime soon? Having to go into multiple apps to use one feature is not really that efficeint.

I have the Ring Central Meetings app installed, and I have the plug in for Outlook, but lately it hasn't been working. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Now when I try scheduling a meeting, the meeting will not populate at all in the Outlook appointment. I get an error message that says I need to install the "Ring Meetings for Meetings" app. Literally that error with meetings twice. What can that mean and how do I resolve that?

I have 4 desk phones. I can make outgoing calls to mobile and landline numbers.The problem I have is when I try and call my main number or a direct number I am prompted with the greeting but none of the desk phones ring.I get the "Please hold while i try and connect you" message and music.Then after about 30 seconds it goes to voicemail.What have I done wrong?

I have an app that receives webhook notifications. Depending on the nature of the notification, it then calls the call-sync or message-sync. However, if I make that request too quickly after receiving the notification I get a "request rate exceeded" message.The request happens during a scheduled event. It checks to see if any users need syncing and then syncs them.I can control the scheduled event. If I purposely make it wait a few seconds after receiving the notification. It works every time. If I allow it to be called immediately after the notification I get the error message every time.Is this supposed to be working this way? I can't find any documentation about it.

Can you tell me before I try and experiment with the desktop app installing it on a windows terminal server. Most of my clients use a terminal server for their employees to log into and work rather than using their own PC/desktop environment.The only post I have been able to find has never been answered or replied to. How do I transfer my number FROM RingCentral and time frame it takes? Frustrated about missing revenue calls and Support not helpful

In Canada. When making outbound calls we off and on are getting a message of "Im sorry, theres been an internal error. You will be disconnected now. Goodbye" I see there was an update last night from the status on the help page but have no prompts or ability to update on the RC Phone app. Is this an overall issue effecting all clients or is there a fix?

Last post on this was 6 months ago and I am not sure which app (new Glip or old RC Phone) they were discussing. I don't see a way to fully shut down the app on my phone. Worse, the app doesn't respect my phones DND settings. Calls and messages ring through regardless. Any ideas how to fix this?

I am nearing the end of my trial period and I have decided that, although lacking, it doesn't pay to start using the separate phone and meeting apps if they will soon be discontinued. So, if I stay with RC, I am just going to use the Universal Glip apps on my Android and Windows 10 PC and wait for the additional features to be ported over.I currently use MS Teams for team messaging but would probably switch to Glip just to have everything in one place. Glip is definitely INFERIOR to MS Teams in several areas:1) Presence - MS Teams makes a distinction if someone is idle (yellow) vs. offline (gray). All my faxes are failing - they have been for a few days and I cannot seem to get anyone from Ringcentral on the phone or on chat?

What changed? I could not start or join a meeting via URL today until I closed the old desktop app and quit the new app. Very frustrating and had to use a free zoom meeting to deal with a client earlier until I ambled around to a work around.
