My iOS RC Phone app does not consistently display caller's contacts while the phone is locked.The contacts are in my phone, and sometimes they display on the lock screen, but usually not. Today my support agent, Martin Vincent J , told me that 3rd party apps may not communicate with contacts while the phone is asleep. I find this hard to swallow because I've used the Bria app with a SIP phone and it worked 100% (displayed the contact name on the lock screen).I've had two unresolved support cases on this. Furthermore, my colleagues that are also RC Partners have this problem.

I am trying to fax to a number in Greece but keep getting a "Failed" attempt result.I have enabled international calling and included all correct country/regions codes.

Caller Contact info is not being saved.When I open the Call log on website and click on "Add Contact" for a call- the box opens to enter the information, but it does not save it anymore when I click save.USChromePC

We have a US account with about 32 employees. I have had a request to be able to recall a call once you have transferred it. How do we do this? As the switchboard I use the desktop app but many use the mobile app.

First I must say that I have been using ring-central for 10 years. Hi,I am new to Ringcentral and I am trying to get my bearings. I run a small business and used to use Vonage, with vonage I had the following when a customer calledPress option 1 for sales, 2 if you are an existing customer and 3 if you are a member of staff, when an option was pressed it was then sent to all then came through to my one telephone number as I am the only one answering calls...This then showed me on the desktop app and phone app which option has been pressed. I need it to show this information because sometimes I will not be picking up option 2/3 calls ie: in the evenings... but if a sales call option 1 is calling I would like to be notified that this is happening so that I can pick up the call...Anyway to show this info?Account type: UKThanks,Sam

User assignments and changes should be able to be tracked from analytics portal.In our enterprise company with several admins and a few super admins it can be frustrating tracking down what line moved to what device and which admin made the mistake.Recently I had an issue that appeared to be users being removed from a device and added to others and there was no data in the portal to show when they were changed. Tier 1 support couldn't even find it on their backend systems. At least give your agent's the ability to see all changes to an account, they are very good agents.I believe documentation of user line assignments would assist users and support in tracking down and troubleshooting issues. This would have prevented me from reaching out to support or if I did not see that, the support agent could have walked me through and had first call resolution.

I have a meeting link, I can connect on a remote computer, but I can't connect on my workstation. I have the latest updates on Windows 10, I use Google Chrome to launch the url, and I've uninstalled and reinstalled the RingCentral app.I have done a speedtest and show 50 down, 9.5 up, I've disabled the firewall and turned off my AV, still doesn't connect.I tried calling support, but since I don't have a ring central number they don't care about me. Any ideas why this doesn't work?

I blieve this is a bug on ringcentral as it started happening a couple of days ago. No setting was changed/updated and I went through trouble shooting with a customer service rep for 2 hours. I tested with another cell phone provider.Reporting system bug:Under Call handling & forwarding: I have the following set up:Incoming calls forward in this order: simultaneously1) Desktop & mobile apps2) VVX-601 desk phone3) Mobile phoneThen under Settings: Incoming Call Information: Display Incoming Caller ID is selectedHowever, on my mobile phone, Called Number is showing instead of Displayed Incoming Caller ID starting a couple of days ago.Could you report this to the tech teams and get back to me?

RC App for Android (v. 11.0.0) is highly unreliable. Phone will ring, but will just not connect, lost call does not go to voice mail. I am reacting within 2 rings of an inbound call, so it's not the timeout issue at play here. Assistance appreciated.Thanks in advance!

I work in my company CS and all my clients have my direct number - I need to unconditionally forward calls after hours to our 800 support number which is monitored after hours but when I attempt to do so I get the following error: Forwarding phone number cannot be the same as your account number or any additional numbers. Please go to Call Handling and Forwarding and remove the number (866) XXX-XXX (deleted number for privacy)

In performance reports there's a KPI called Abandoned calls (Count of all queue calls that were not answers by a user - includes VM) and then there's Refused (Count of all queue calls that were not answered by at least one user).This seems the same yet for the last 7 days my report shows 117 abandoned calls and 52 refused calls.What does this mean?

We are having an issue with people appearing twice in the People area of Glip. How do we remedy this? I have called and messaged several times but we aren't getting anywhere. Along with these dual entries we are also getting the following message while trying to access their message on a desktop "You are using an unsupported browser for this feature. Please sign in with Google Chrome or download the Glip desktop app." This message only appears with the people who are listed twice.

Is there a way to tie together queue holds to a specific agent and the time of day? If not can you add it?

I have a Polycom 311 desk phone that was originally assigned to an employee who left before setting up the phone. I plugged in the phone in our spare office, but there are voice mails on it. There was never a pin assigned and I cannot find a way to "reset" or delete the voice mails without this pin. Is there a generic pin that I can use until phone has a "real" owner?

In the online videos, the left pane in Glip shows Tasks & Calendar sections. But we can't seem to show them there except in the bottom pane. Our left pane only includes Phone, Bookmarks, Favorites, People & Teams. How can we get Tasks & Calendar to show there?

Using release 10.2.2.31914 (64-bit) Desktop app. I am pretty sure this is Mojave related but not 100% sure. I have installed the app (and deleted and reinstalled 4+ times), every time my computer restarts I get the RingCentral window asking me if I Agree or Disagree with the RC terms. When I agree it basically installs the app. ( it is already on my HD). I then will have the app on my desktop just like a USB drive. I can eject it but the program still runs. Any thoughts on how to avoid this and download the app once and for all?

Our environment requires us to send faxes traditional way. Recently we switched to RingCentral telephone service and were planning to switch our fax machines also. To test it first, we port it only one machine. 90% of our faxes failure to send. Only few numbers that we can send them through. We are using Toshiba e-Studio 5055c with ECM disabled. Toshiba's e-Studio MFPs don't have baud settings for reducing transmit speed. Instead, they adjust speed automatically based on recipient. Interesting that faxes sent perfectly fine when using desktop app.Also, when faxes are sent of failure, there are no records under the log of that extension where fax machine connected to the corresponded ATA.Any suggestions?

We are trying to connect Cisco SX20s to RingCentral meetings but are having issues. We have several SX20s across the US and have used them with Jabber and GoToMeeting meetings without issues. We have purchased the Room Connector for each of our Cisco SX20s.The issues below are what we are experiencing:1. Laptops connected to meeting with presenter sharing a screen and other laptops able to see. When the Cisco SX20s connects it cannot see shared screen, it shows the cameras of the connected laptops (if shared). The presenter must stop their share then the laptop attached to the SX20 must share desktop and then stop the share. Immediately after that action the presenter can begin sharing their screen and the SX20 works perfectly. This process must be done on each SX20 joining the meeting. They must initiate a share in order to receive the shared screen.2. If a Cisco SX20 shares screen while there is another presenter then it will break the display ability on the S
