How do i get the original sound option on in meetings??? HELP PLEASE

I've been on Ringcentral for six months and like the system, but am receiving robo calls both at the office, and at home that are of a nature, so persistent and repetitive that are unfortunately, going to force me to drop the system if there is no way to fix this:I receive REPEAT robocalls about every 5 minutes, starting around 7pm and running all night. One is from "SIP VICIOUS" and the other is from "888070xxxyyyzzz" (and similar numbers - this has been going on for months). Sometimes during that daytime when i'm at the office.The whole purpose of this system is to provide a higher quality phone system for our customers and potential customers to call in on. But this unrestricted, constant repetitive robo calla ctivity basically, renders our RingCentral phone system deployment worthless to us.I've called into to tech support several times on this. Hi,We promoted application to production, but from time to time (I can say very often) we get a connection error:"A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond 199.255.120.210:443"Could you explain me why?Thanks!

I work for a medical practice and we create a lot of .pdf files that we use to fax between various facilities , but the 20mb file limitation makes it cumbersome. Will this always be the size limitation with RingCentral?

Hi. We need to reset the "client secret" for a custom web app on our production site. I assume this will only interfere with a web app that is using the RingCentral API. Alternatively, is there a way to see the origin from where a subscription is created?Our web app is using a crontab to subscribe to RingCentral API 1 x week at midnight. However, we are still getting subscriptions generated daily at 3AM (the previous configuration), and I suspect this is because a 2nd server is still running on a previous developer's system. So I want to reset the client secret, or at least - confirm where the subscriptions are being generated from.Jonathan

I was speaking with a product manager from RingCentral about a month ago and they mentioned a "Super App" for desktop that would include meetings integration and make the phone portion of the application much smoother like RC Phone. Spoke with the account manager yesterday and she said that was not happening/ it was only for mobile. Has anyone else heard about this "Super App" being for desktop or was I mistaken?

Where is the historical reporting that used to exist? I no longer can go back more than 6 months. I can no longer compare incoming call volume against a time period in the past. When will this be added back?????

Finding true element to link Calls (it must work as it shows on Company Analytics web portal correctly) THis has been an issue since day one, and there hasn't been a straight forward way for me to work this out.I have on the Ringcentral BT portal (webportal image attached) 1 call that came through successfully into hunt group, and was answered by Becky.She then spoke to staff user, and passed the call to Anna.That's where things get messy. I cannot find ANY link between the two staff users.Attached are the API Details for both users on that day regarding this phone number, it doesn't even show the leg of Becky's call GOING to Anna, (it appears blank)So my question is how can I get this accurate

In Salesforce Lightning I have installed RingCentral - and it is working - however, when I finish a call and want to "Log A Call" from the Utility Bar it is only allowing me to Log it to the Account. How can I create a field so I can relate it to a Case and/or Opportunity?

I am unable to send an e-fax, with attachment and include a cover page. I consulted in "messenger" with an IT specialist. Through trouble shooting we found that I could not send my attachment AND a cover page at the same time. IT suggested I post this to the "community" board.

I can start my own meeting. But cannot join in most meetings (except for those with numbers starting with 14....) . Tried reboot, reinstalling. ...did not help. Using MAc Air OSX Yosemite 10.10.5

Hi, i am new to this API and i can't get or create tasks from Glip (i am working with a test App in sandbox).Api is working and i can get chats, events and notes but i don't see any endpoint to work with tasks.Investigating, i have found cards (in API->GLIP->Post) that has similar fields to tasks but when i create cards, i can't see them in Glip.What am i doing wrong?Thank you very much.

I want to integrate Infusionsoft contacts with Ring Central so we can see the name of the people that are current clients. I also I have 6 counseling offices and when a call comes in we use Power Point slides with scripts so my call center knows what to say and where to direct people to the right location, the right counselor and services but I want to automate it with dynamic scripting.

Hi, I'm trying to traverse the API from the Company Call Log to the recordings of every fax and voicemail received across the company.I can get the call log records, and I see the entries for faxes and voicemails, but I don't see the message element of the returned records, which the documentation leads me to believe should be there.How do I get to the list of faxes and voicemails of the company without making API calls for every extension or user in the company, which is clearly infeasible?Thanks in advance!

Why doesn't Glip have an integration with Google Team Drives, their team-oriented file storage product, but only with Google Drive, their personal product? We use Team Drives to store shared files in a tree structure because RC/Glip itself doesn't support tree structures. We'd still like to be able to reference these files from Glip.Apparently this can easily be fixed by updating Glip to use Google's API v3 Picker > https://developers.google.com/drive/api/v3/picker but is this something we can do ourselves? If not, could it move up the dev priorities, please?[RC Office users]

We have call forwarding set up for four business numbers -- but your services currently won't allow the calls to be sent to our MOBILE APPLICATION. Before we set up the forwarding chain, we could answer on our mobile apps. We really need you to help us with this, Jean, the person we've worked with at RingCentral says that presently you are unable to make this happen.  Please help us by developing whatever needs to be developed so the forwarding calls can go to our mobile app. Currently, whenever I answer a call and the call needs to go to one of our estimators, I have to physically GIVE the phone to him and put it on speaker phone and give up my phone for about ten minutes. Really, this is a terrible solution. PLEASE HELP!

1. US 2. 07913904 3. I'm a new RC customer. Switched meetings from GTM and didnt have this problem on GTM. Some of my coworkers are reporting that some of their Meetings attendees are not able to join from their corporate PCs. They click the join link, browser opens and downloads RCMeetings, they are sometimes prompted to input name as usual, but at this point the process fails with no errors, it just quits on them, just nothing. On the host side however they see the attendee in their attendee list. The attendee can not hear or see anything. The app never fully opened for them. Dialing in does work. I think what's happening is these attendees are all customers of ours or prospects and they are all banks or financial institutions with strict network and/ or endpoint firewall rules, and RC is not whitelisted. We did not have this problem with GTM. Wondering if anybody else has seen this. I'm going to try to get more info from coworkers this week. RC Support this past week

I am starting an executive suite (like Regus). I am providing phone service as part of the service for the tenants. With over 30+ tenants, my live receptionist needs to see the number being called (Callee ID) so she can answer the call appropriately using the right business name. 8x8 has a product called "Switchboard", but the only product RC has that is close is "Multi-site support".... is there a solution I am not seeing?

my first problem is when a call goes to voicemail it doesn't go to the ring central voicemail it goes to an individuals voicemail. my second problem is that the calls shouldn't come up as answered if no one answered them. and my last problem is when the call is forwarded it should go to the next person in the que not to voicemail.the account type is through the ring central app in the USA. 2 users affected.

When a user requests our app to perform a RingOut, the call starts ringing and the user needs to physically pickup the call to be connected, even though they are wearing a headset and are prepared to take the call when requesting the RingOut. This adds an unnecessary step to their workflow.I see that you can disable the playPromt press 1 part, but is there a way to automatically have the user answer their leg of the call as soon as it starts ringing? Maybe it's a different API in the new Call Control resource?

Our US company has only one new telephone number left to assign to agents. Can we either cancel some of the invitations to use the system that have gone out or expand the available numbers?
