When I am on the website, I click the small arrow but no sounds from the recording playback - I have to dwnload the mp3 file and play it to hear the msg. This was working before but not now - using Firefox 65.0.2 - any clues to fix this?

When answering a call via a soft phone, I want to transfer a call to another team member and click the warm transfer button. If the number I am calling is a mobile and it goes to their voicemail, I can get back to the original call but is there any way I can end the call to the team member. It seems to just leave it in limbo until I have completed the call. There is no end call button for the team member. Am I missing something?

I'm using the SMS subscription event and attempting to pull the details of outbound messages from the message store. This works fine if it's a single SMS, but if messages are being sent in relatively rapid succession (say three messages over the span of 25 seconds), I'm seeing the event looks like thislastUpdated: '2019-03-01T16:45:32.899Z',changes: [ { type: 'SMS', newCount: 2, updatedCount: 1 } ] }Trying to filter the message store by either the time stamp or the newCount ends up missing one (or more) of the messages. I could subtract a given value from the timestamp, but that then runs the risk of pulling in duplicated values.Anyone with some insight into this?

ATA Re connection Issue Every time I lose internet service for a second, surge or whatever, The ATA router never reconnects. Calling tech support does nothing as they follow the script of turn it off and on. Obviously an issue as it happens every time I have a momentary drop in internet service.

We recently upgraded to RingCentral for Salesforce v6. I am noticing an issue where if the same phone number for a contact is in two places on that contact (i.e. Home & Cell) it doesn't link to the contact but treats it as a multi-contact match (even though it isn't). In v5 this issue didn't exist and I can't find anything different in my config that would cause this.How do I solve for this?

We've been using the RC api to post conversations to glip. Some of the posts included images. To implement images, we used the "Attachments" feature outlined here:https://devcommunity.ringcentral.com/ringcentraldev/topics/new-glip-features-post-attachments-and-th...It worked great and showed the images inline in chat.However, a few weeks ago (not exactly sure when), all posts that contain attachments quit working.I finally got around to debugging and can see that it is because RC/Glip is returning a 400 Bad Request error with the message: "Parameter "attachments" is invalid".I tried getting a post to go through using the api explorer using attachments and I can't get that to work either.Did something break with at

We are in the process of migrating to RingCentral for several sites. At one site I am trying to set up a line that will only be used to dial in to a paging system by users located physically at the same site. According to RC support, as soon as we connect hardware to a line (Cisco SPA122 in this case) a DID is required. The problem is that I dont want external calls to be able to reach the paging system. The only way I can see to get the setup I need, is to enable "block all calls" on the paging line, and then populate the approved numbers list with every number at that particular site (not many so not an issue).Is this the best way to set this up? Is there really no way to generate an internal only "virtual extension" that we can point to the SPA122? Or to just block external access to the DID?Follow up question, if this is indeed the correct path, will the approved users be able to dial the paging line using the direct extension? When i go to resend a failed fax, it reformats the number to international and gives me this response... i have to go in and manually re-enter the number... any ideas what is going on? Thank you

Hi , i am facing issues in joining ring central meeting client . When the host joins, it becomes stuck and atlast gives the error code '104113'. Somedays it works perfectly, but some days it does not . It has become a serious issue and client has already escalated it. After request for porting for some numbers initiated, RingCentral using Super Admin's Name as a CNAM for these numbers. That affect all calls from these numbers showing Super Admin's name instead of actual/desired name. Why don't you have a field for that and use it for an appropriate CNAM? It really confusing users when call shows wrong person's name. Again, this is ONLY for internal Ring Central users. We have multiple sites and each of them has different CNAM, such as 'Building A', 'Building B', 'Building C'. I porting multiple numbers from all of them. Multiple numbers from multiple sites are scheduled/pending for porting. Now when someone call from these numbers Super Admin's name displays for CNAM! WHY???

WHY does transferring numbers into RC now take over 2 weeks? The last 3 numbers I have transferred in to RC have all provided a "scheduled" date of 2 weeks before they will even start the process. We have provided 100% of all required info (acct number, pin #, owner info, copy of bill, etc.).We have also transferred several numbers to other telco companies and they have been able to complete number transfers (porting) in 3 to 12 hrs - not days!This makes it very hard to sell to new customers we service, when we can set them up on RC almost instantly, but then it takes 2 to 4 weeks to get their number(s) transferred. We are loosing customers over this.

Just noticed that the RingCentral for Google Calendar Add On disappeared. It is no longer installed on our domain, it does not come up in search results in the google marketplace, and the ringcentral page for it links to a 404 error - what happened?

I need to obtain a list of individuals who attended a RingCentral Webinar/Meeting. Is there a way to do this. I know that the ability exists to document that X individuals attended the meeting but there is no method to identify "who" actually attended, for how long, etc.ThanksMike Simmons

Hi, we have some unassigned phone numbers that ported over from our previous provider; we didn't know what to do with them at the time. The prefixes and line numbers do not coincide with our actual company number and so don't want to use them. Can we do anything with these numbers other than delete them? Can they be converted to match the desired prefix/line number sequences if the prefixes/line numbers are available externally? If so, what is the process?Thanks!

Are Refused calls a subset of # Inbound Calls ?Example: Total calls = 29 (14 Inbound, 15 Outbound). There are 10 Refused calls. Does this mean that 10 out of the 14 Inbound were refused (or 71%)?Please confirm

So I load the JS SDK, initialize it and set subscription to '/account/~/extension/~/presence?detailedTelephonyState=true'.I create a Ringout set correct From and To numbers and then Ringout is initialized successfully.Event listener on the SDK detects new message and passes it to a function but calls in the received presence message always have the direction set to INBOUND even tho they have been initialized through Ringout and they are definitely not INBOUND, same thing happens if i initialize a Ringout call using RingCentral desktop app.Why is this happening now when it all worked fine couple of weeks back ware there any changes to presence api ? This is a huge blocker for our integration please help.Thanks

I saved my password using my email as the login l on Feb 6, 2019. I have been using Glip account since then. I just tried logging in again. RingCentral says my email address isn't valid. I am in the U.S and use a Mac (v10.14.3).

Is there any way to change the ring tone on my iphone for the app? It uses a different one than my regular calls, but I don't want to use the xylophone which seems to be the default.
